Contrast is defined as the ratio of difference between the intensity of brightest white to that of darkest black on the screen. Most commonly used contrast ratio is 700:1, which is standard for home and office use. However, a higher contrast is required for your gaming requirements.
DVI & D-Sub Connection
Conventionally, CRT monitors use D-sub connection that use analogue signal to transmit data from the computer system. In case of LED they should use DVI (Digital Video Interface) for transmitting the data from the computer. It is horizontal or vertical angle to the LED monitor at which you can view the screen without the image getting blurred or not visible. So, you should have LED monitor that has horizontal viewing angle 160 or higher. With such an angle you don’t have to worry about placing your monitor at a particular angle.
